Naam Smaran Privacy Policy

EPM Dynamics ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Naam Smaran mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

1. Overview

Naam Smaran is a devotional writing, counting, and reminder app. It allows users to save jaap or mantra text, inscribe words on screen, track counters, set daily goals, configure reminders, and optionally select a personal image as a faint watermark.

The App is designed with minimal data handling. Core app data is stored locally on your device.

2. Information You Provide

When using the App, you may choose to enter or select:

jaap, naam, mantra, or devotional text
titles or names for saved jaap entries
daily goals and counter progress
reminder interval, reminder type, and reminder phrase
app settings such as inscription text size, sensitivity, and watermark opacity
a local image from your device to use as a faint watermark
backup files that you export or import

3. How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used only to provide App features, including:

showing saved jaap text for inscription
highlighting completed and current words
tracking daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and total counters
showing daily goal progress
scheduling reminders and speaking your chosen reminder phrase when enabled
displaying your selected watermark image inside the App
exporting or importing your App backup when you choose to do so

4. Local Storage

Naam Smaran stores app data locally on your device. This can include saved jaap entries, counters, completion timestamps, reminder settings, watermark image reference, and general preferences.

We do not operate a server that receives or stores your jaap text, counters, reminder phrase, or selected watermark image.

5. Backup and Import

The App lets you export a backup file and import a backup file. These actions are controlled by you.

A backup may contain saved jaap entries, counters, daily goals, and App settings. You are responsible for where you save, send, or store exported backup files.

6. Images and Watermark

If you choose a personal image for the watermark feature, the App stores a local reference to that image so it can be shown faintly inside the App.

The App does not upload your selected image to EPM Dynamics.

7. Notifications, Voice, and Reminders

If you enable reminders, the App may request notification permission so it can show reminder alerts on your device.

If voice reminder is enabled, the App uses the device text-to-speech capability to speak your chosen reminder phrase.

The App may request or use Android permissions related to notifications, exact alarms, device reboot reminder restoration, and battery optimization exemption. These permissions are used only to support reminder reliability.

8. Internet and Network Use

Naam Smaran is designed to work without requiring an internet connection for its core features.

If you open an external website, store page, email app, or support link, your interaction with that external service is governed by that service's own privacy policy and terms.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your jaap text, counters, reminder phrase, or selected watermark image with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

If you choose to export, import, save, or share backup files or other content, that action is initiated and controlled by you through your device.

10. Children's Privacy

Naam Smaran is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Data Retention

Because App data is stored locally, it remains on your device until you delete it, reset counters, remove saved jaap entries, clear App data, delete exported backups, or uninstall the App.

12. Security

We aim to minimize data collection and keep core App data on your device. However, no device storage method is completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your device and any exported backup files.

13. Your Choices

You may:

edit or delete saved jaap entries
reset individual or all counters
change or disable reminders
turn off voice reminders
remove the watermark image
delete exported backup files
clear App data or uninstall the App

14. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on platform services provided by Android or Google Play, including app distribution, notifications, alarms, text-to-speech, file picker, file storage, and backup file sharing through device-supported apps.

Use of such services is subject to the privacy policies and terms of the relevant providers.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date shown above.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
