Just Reference Data Deletion

This page explains how users of the Just Reference mobile application by EPM Dynamics can delete their app data or request help with data deletion.
1. Delete Data Inside the App
Just Reference stores your saved references and files locally on your device. You can delete data directly in the App by using the available delete options.
- Open Just Reference.
- Go to the Library screen.
- Find the saved reference that you want to remove.
- Use the Delete action for that reference and confirm deletion.
- Go to Backup to delete local backup ZIP files created by the App.
2. Delete All Local App Data
You can delete all local Just Reference data from Android settings.
- Open Android Settings on your device.
- Go to Apps.
- Select Just Reference.
- Open Storage.
- Select Clear data or Clear storage.
You can also uninstall Just Reference to remove the App and its local app storage from your device.
3. Backup Files and Cloud Copies
If you exported a backup ZIP file or shared content to another app, email account, cloud storage provider, or messaging app, you may need to delete those copies separately from the place where you saved or shared them.
EPM Dynamics cannot remotely delete files that you exported to your own device folders, cloud accounts, or third-party apps.
4. AI Provider Data
If you configured optional external AI suggestions, some reference text, titles, URLs, or metadata may have been sent to the AI provider that you configured.
To delete data held by that provider, you should follow the deletion process and privacy policy of the relevant AI provider.
5. Request Deletion Help
If you need help with Just Reference data deletion, email us at info@epmdynamics.com with the subject line Just Reference Data Deletion Request.
Please include the app name, a brief description of the help you need, and the email address that we should use to reply. Do not send sensitive documents, passwords, API keys, private medical details, financial details, or legal documents in your email.
6. Response Time
We aim to respond to deletion help requests within 30 days.
Because Just Reference stores core app data locally on your device and does not require an EPM Dynamics account, in many cases we can only provide deletion instructions rather than remotely deleting data from your device.
7. Data Deleted or Kept
Deleting Just Reference app data can remove:
- saved references
- stored files copied into the App
- categories, tags, and groups created in the App
- notification and location reminder settings
- AI configuration saved in the App
- local backup ZIP files stored by the App, if you delete them from Backup or device storage
We may retain support emails that you send to us for a reasonable period so that we can respond to your request, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations.
